Charles Blair Macdonald built it in 1892, moved it to Wheaton three years later, and Seth Raynor reworked it in 1923. One of the five clubs that founded the USGA, host of three US Opens, and still one of the most private addresses in the game.

It lives on the bar cart, the office desk, or the counter at the end of a round. Somebody will pick it up and ask about it.
