The Coeur d'Alene Resort course opened in 1991 in the Idaho panhandle, and it is best known for one thing. The 14th is the world's only floating green, a movable island anchored offshore that gets repositioned daily between about one hundred and one hundred seventy five yards. You take a mahogany boat out to putt. The rest of the course runs through cedar and pine along the lake, with conditioning as good as anywhere in the country.
