The Plantation Course sits on the slopes of West Maui, built by Coore and Crenshaw in 1991 on old pineapple land. Enormous elevation changes, fairways wide enough to swing freely, and a closing hole where a good drive can run out past six hundred yards. Every January the PGA Tour opens its season here with the winners of the year before.
