Charles Blair Macdonald studied the great holes of Britain, then built his versions of them above Peconic Bay in 1911. The Redan, the Alps, the Sahara, the Short. Almost every template hole in the country traces back here.


It lives on the bar cart, the office desk, or the counter at the end of a round. Somebody will pick it up and ask about the routing.
