Robert Trent Jones Sr. built Spyglass Hill in 1966 at Pebble Beach. The opening holes run through dunes above the Pacific, then the routing climbs inland into the Del Monte Forest, where towering pines close in and the course earns its reputation. Every hole is named after something from Treasure Island, and most players who take on all three courses in the AT&T Pro-Am rotation will tell you this is the hardest of them.
